One of the very first weddings we photographed during our first full year in business was that of Marylou + Alain, who had a touching and beautiful celebration surrounded by their sweet friends and family. So when they reached out to us a couple years later asking if we were free to photograph Alain’s brother’s wedding, we immediately knew how great it would be to document another celebration inย their wonderful circle. And Daisy + Austin’s wedding at the Iglesia Ni Cristo Church in Los Angeles followed by the reception at theย Anoush Glenaoks Banquet Hall in Glendale was everything and more. It was simply the perfect day …
THE LOCATION: IGLESIA NI CRISTO CHURCH LOS ANGELES AND THE ANOUSH GLENOAKS BANQUET HALL IN GLENDALE
Although this was our second time photographing a wedding at the Iglesia Ni Cristo Church in Los Angeles, we are always blown away by the beauty of this stunning church. With its cathedral ceilings and beautiful natural light, it provides a wonderful backdrop for the wedding ceremony.ย With their closest family and friends at their side, Daisy and Austin celebrated the evening away at the stunning Glenoaks Banquet Hall in Glendale where the food is as delicious as the space is beautiful.
THEIR LOVE STORY
But in 2008, they finally went on their first date and talked for hours and hours over a meal they shared. And since then, they’ve been inseparable, promising to love each other forever and vowing never to cause each other heartache.ย And of course with all of that, also comes the promise to always root for the Lakers together through good times and bad LOL. (They are clearly a couple after my own heart!)
We had so much fun photographing Daisy + Austin’s engagement session in Venice Beach, so we knew their Wedding Day would be even more special. Here are some of our favorite images from their amazing day …
The “Getting Ready” part of the Wedding Day is truly one of my favorite parts of the day because emotions and excitement are always high and I get the opportunity to take images like this — truly one of my most favorite preparation images ever. Daisy just looks so beautiful!!!
Daisy is truly one of the most beautiful women I have ever had the chance to photograph … she is a classic beauty with such sweetness and grace. And she always makes it look so effortless!
Daisy + Austin rented an incredible private estate in the Hollywood Hills for their entire wedding weekend, which allowed them both to do their preparations on this massive property along the hillside. This estate had such unique details and fantastic little spaces which allowed for our creativity to run wild!
They chose to do a First Look in the estate’s courtyard and it was perfect …
As they prepared to leave for the ceremony, Austin could not stop looking at his gorgeous bride, so he made sure to sneak in one more look before they parted ways ๐ These are the moments that make me feel so lucky to be a photographer — the way he looks at her is the sweetest thing!
