Nothing makes my heart feel better than making our clients happy 🙂 And the biggest compliment we can ever receive is when our past clients refer us to their friends and family. So when one of our very first wedding couples ~ Marylou + Alain ~ reached out to me about photographing Alain’s brother’s wedding, I was ecstatic! Both Austin + Daisy were actually in Marylou and Alain’s bridal party so we were excited about the opportunity to photograph this gorgeous couple once again …

We met Austin + Daisy for a romantic vintage-style inspired engagement session at the Venice Canals and to say we could have photographed them here FOREVER is an understatement. While they were both a little nervous at the start, like most of our couples they quickly slipped into a comfortable place of just being together and living in each moment they shared. These two are really beautiful together and their love is so effortless and sincere.

Daisy is a natural beauty and I adored every details of her classic and romantic style for these portraits! We always encourage our brides-to-be to get professional hair and makeup done for their engagement photos because it gives them a lovely polished touch — Daisy looks amazing doesn’t she?!?!
I really love couples who can laugh together ~ I am a true believer that laughter is a key ingredient to a happy relationship 😀Signs your love is meant to be — finding a boat named “Sealed with a Kiss” — how cool is that?!?

Once the sun began to dip behind the houses that lined the canals, we made our way to the colorful paths of the Venice Beach boardwalk. These two are magnetic together and I love the way they look at each other …The beach was unusually empty that day so we took full advantage and hit the sand just in time to capture some dynamic images just before the sun dipped … the clouds were incredible and the sky provided a lovely range of blue hues.I love it when mother nature gives us gifts like this — this seagull flew into our frame just in time 🙂Can’t say it enough, the sunset + sky were simply amazing that day … the perfect backdrop for this perfect pair.
