I’ll be totally honest with you, when I started planning my wedding I was clueless. As in Alicia Silverstone clueless. I knew nothing about the intricacies of planning a wedding, and even more so a destination wedding at that. But through the help of the internet and tons of bridal forums, I slowly but surely found my way and step by step I planned my dream wedding 🙂

In the process of planning my Big Day, I realized how many new trends and practices had made their home in the wedding industry. Most importantly, the revolution of wedding photography, which was no longer corny and cheesy but rather edgy, sexy and downright beautiful.

One of the most intriguing aspects of wedding photography in recent years has been the concept of a Trash-the-Dress or Day-After Session. I know, I know, you’re like “what do you want me to do to my dress?” Yes, the idea of trashing anything let alone your wedding dress can be a little startling. Trust me, I was just as apprehensive and felt the same way. But little did I know that trashing that beautiful gown of yours could be ultra sexy and unequivocally beautiful.
