The warm summer-like weather in So Cal arrived a little late this year and in short periodic spurts. But when the warmth swept through, everyone threw on their swimsuits and headed to the beach to cool off in the chilly Pacific Ocean waters. Families splashing in knee high water, toddlers sitting on the shore mesmerized with the marvel that is “sand and a shovel,” and beautiful bronzed bodies soaking up every inch of sunkissed rays. Life’s truly a beach on a warm So Cal day.

Last Sunday when summer decided to make a surprising mid-October appearance, Tommy and I had the pleasure of spending a late afternoon at Redondo Beach. But instead of donning flip flops and bathing suits, we came armed with our cameras for a wonderful holiday portrait session with the Gomez Family.
