Since shooting our first couple prom sessions last year, we’ve been receiving lots of requests for pre-prom shoots as the end of the school year approaches. And, I have to say, I LOVE IT! Working with young students and couples is so much fun because these sessions are always full of life and laughter. I guess you could say, these sessions keep me on my toes and feeling young, or at least remembering what it was like hahaha 🙂

THE LOCATION: SERGERSTROM CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Just a few days ago we met up with Niki + Sagar at the beautiful Sergerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, CA for a quick session before they headed to the Whitney High School Prom at the Marconi Automotive Museum in Tustin. They along with another couple (who will be featured on the blog next!), wanted a stylish cityscape feel to their portraits so the Sergerstrom grounds were perfect! (On a personal note, I seriously love this space and would love to do an engagement session or even shoot a wedding here one day!!!)

Niki looked stunning in her red prom gown …As the sun began to set, I told them to just dance. So they did … and this is honestly one of my most favorite series of dancing photos. EVER. 🙂I’m a sucker for sweet little details …
