One of the best parts of being Wedding Photographers is the opportunity to meet our clients face to face for the first time. Yes, that statement might make you scratch your head a little, but in today’s technology savvy world Tommy and I often book new clients without having met them in person first. So sometimes the first time we actually get to greet them with our smiles is during their Engagement Session or with destination couples, it might even be on their Wedding Day. That was the case with a lovely couple we met up with a couple months ago ~ Alfred + JoAnna.

This awesome twosome contacted us while they were living on the East Coast, but shortly after they made the move to sunny So Cal, we met up with them for a fun engagement session in Laguna Beach on a picture perfect afternoon …

A lot of times couples tell us they’re not photogenic or comfortable taking photos together … but within a few clicks, we realize they’re totally lying and just testing us  😀  Exhibit A through G your Honor …

It was a busy Sunday afternoon in Laguna Beach, and while we unfortunately couldn’t control the traffic around us, I totally love the contrast and chicness of this moment because it reminds me of a street corner in Paris …

I’ve always been a strong believer that in love, there is laughter. And clearly, by the way Alfred makes his beautiful fiancee smile and giggle, these two can look forward to a life of love, laughter and happily ever after …

Alfred + JoAnna, thanks so much for spending the afternoon with us. Tommy and I cannot wait for your Wedding in Dana Point this June ~ on my birthday to be exact! Couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate my birthday than by documenting another chapter in your wonderful love story 😉
