The older my not-so-little-anymore daughter Cheyenne gets, the more we find ourselves getting asked when we’re gonna have baby #2 😀 But then I show everyone my to-do list and they quickly understand how diapers and breast feeding just don’t fit into the mix. At least not yet 😉  But then there are those days when we get the wonderful chance to shoot family sessions with kiddos that make me literally wanna give birth the next day. Yes, I’m a sucker for adorable kids. Especially ones that make me laugh and in return, smile at me like I invented candy, popsicles, Disney movies and pizza. All on the same day, LOL.

A few months ago Tommy and I and my now taller than me favorite assistant Cheyenne, met up with Kim, Joe and their ridiculously cute toddler Zoe. And when I say cute, I mean *CUTE* in bold bright letters on a Times Square billboard. Don’t say I didn’t warn you …

This beautiful family joined us for a nature-inspired session in Orange County to celebrate Zoe’s first birthday. And they were such troopers given the elements of heat, bugs, random wild rabbits, field mice and yes rattlesnakes and mountain lion warning signs. My clients are truly the best because they’re always willing to go the extra mile when it comes to exploring fabulous settings for the sake of their photos. And I think it’s totally worth it, don’t ya think?

Zoe + Mom + Dad, much love to you three for spending the day with us under the warm summer sun. We had a blast with you guys and so enjoyed being able to photograph your special moments as a family ~ we hope you’ll make it a yearly tradition! And lest I forget a warm Happy Birthday hug to your precious little girl. May her giggles, sparkly eyes and beautiful smile always warm your heart each and every single day <3
