A few months ago I shot two of my very first prom sessions ever and it reminded me how wonderfully exciting it felt to be approaching my last few weeks as a senior in high school. I seriously can’t believe it’s been 20 years since I was swarming through the halls of Artesia High School with my over-processed hair and too red lipstick LOL. Where did the time go? Seriously. But I can honestly say, these past 20 years have been full of growth and learning, but by far, appreciating. Being grateful for every wonderful moment and experience in my life, even the hard and difficult times. And being thankful for my family and small circle of friends who’ve always stood beside me on this journey called life 🙂 The years since my high school days have zipped by so fast, so during these moments when I get to photograph prom sessions or young seniors on the cusp of adulthood, it gives me time to reflect and appreciate the road I’ve traveled.

I recently took a trip down memory lane when we met up with Stephanie + Gabe at Huntington Central Park for their prom session. From the moment we met them in the parking lot, I was instantly impressed by their effortless style. Why do I not remember being so stylish when I was younger? LOL. These sweethearts were so fun loving and totally at ease around each other, making our session go by in a blink.
