They met for the first time during a Halloween party that she and her roommates threw back in 2007. Amid costumes and festive drinks, their paths finally crossed not knowing their roads would would be intertwined from that point on. They didn’t actually share their first kiss until they welcomed in 2008 together in Las Vegas. But from that New Year’s kiss blossomed a relationship that would deem them inseparable.

When it came to their proposal, I can honestly say, Joe deserves to win some kind of “awesomest fiance” award. Months before he decided to propose, Joe spent four nights a week secretly learning how to play the guitar so he could sing and play “Never Stop” by Safety Suit before popping the question. When the day finally came, this pair and their friends gathered for a beach bonfire. When Linda arrived, she found a rose petal path with a chair ready for her to sit in at the end of the trail, where Joe sung and played the song he had lovingly practiced for so long. He then got down on one knee and he and his brother and three friends held up signs that said “WILL YOU MARRY ME?” And of course, the answer was … Yes. Gahhhh, just retelling the story gives me goosebumps. That is a proposal for the ages!!!
