Families come in all colors, shapes and sizes. And I think it’s this unique diversity that makes having family so wonderful + special. Tommy and I are fortunate to have close-knit families who love spending time together no matter the day or holiday — we roll deep and together, all the time 🙂 And when I say deep, I’m talking in the bunches — 20+ people on the regular. You can’t miss us!!!

So when we are asked to do larger family sessions, we enjoy the challenge and fun dynamic that larger groups entail. But most of all we LOVE the beautiful energy that emanates from a family full of different personalities and relationships.

When Megan (a sweet bridesmaid at Alejandra + Sean’s Wedding last fall) asked us to capture some special photos of her family, including her children, her husband, her parents, and her sister and her husband — we knew it would be an afternoon full of smiles, laughter and good times. And when we arrived at her parents’ home in Cerritos for the session, we were blown away by their incredible backyard oasis. It was a casual but perfect setting for us to capture some of the wonderful connections between this family of 8 and the special relationships between each of the couples.
