I sometimes wonder what our brides are thinking the night before their Wedding Day. For me, Wedding Eve consisted of a festive Welcome Dinner celebration on the Casa Romero grounds in Akumal, Mexico complete with lots of laughter, warm hugs and good times. And after all the dancing, eating and drinking, I went back into Bride Robot mode (no I was definitely not a Bridezilla but I was a detail crazed one!) and made sure everything I needed was in place for the Big Day, while Tommy and his boys enjoyed a last minute bachelor party in Playa del Carmen because he never got the chance to officially celebrate his last days as single man back at home. (P.S., I actually suggested this last minute b-party — I know, I’m the coolest wife ever. Right?) Meanwhile, I was back in Casa Romero feeling jittery, nervous, and struggling to sleep because months and years of planning were finally coming to fruition. And like most brides, I wanted to make sure everything was perfect. And like most weddings, nothing is every perfect … and yet, our Wedding Day was even better than I could ever wish or dream it would be 😀

So tonight, I’m sure our beautiful Akumal bride Malia is feeling those same jitters, wondering if tomorrow will be just like she envisioned. Somehow, I’m sure her Wedding Day will be even better than she could ever wish or dream it would be …

Here’s a glimpse of the gorgeous couple we get to work with tomorrow (I’ll be handling the photos and Tommy is shooting video of what is sure to be an incredible Mayan Wedding Ceremony!) … And look at the beautiful eyes I get to photograph all day long 😉 *SWOON*
