Day 2 | From NYC to You With Love

Lessons learned today: New York City is an amazing place that is buzzing with life on every corner! I feel so alive here and while everyone is movin a million miles a minute, it makes me wanna be a mover and a shaker too ๐Ÿ˜‰ Sadly, I’ve also realized that as a California girl I’ve been spoiled with having a car. Here, everybody walks. And they walk fast! My legs are gettin a serious workout ova here along with my butt, which of course I’m lovin ๐Ÿ˜€ It helps work off my NYC food indulgences, LOL.

Today we walked all over the city, and saw so many beautiful spaces. We also had a wonderful dinner in Madison Square Park at the Shake Shack: burgers, fries and a delicious ice cream desert called concrete — a meal we ate under the night sky. It was so perfect and the warm weather was awesome. A yummy meal with the Empire State building in our sights. My heart couldn’t have been happier and it was a blissful moment I wish I could bottle up and send to everyone I know. We then headed to Times Square, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, and Union Square. And really, every corner embraced my senses and of course tickled my camera with utter delight! I love NY ๐Ÿ™‚

P.S. No pizza today, can you believe it? I’m sure that will change tomorrow though!

Chronicles of my Day 2 … (PS these are not fully edited, but I figured meh, better to document my daily travels while I’m still here!)

Such a diva, I don’t know where she got it from, LOL ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yep first stop Adorama, because my brilliant husband forgot his shootsac, which also was carrying our memory cards. <DOH>

And then we happened upon a cupcake store, where the lady at the counter asked if we wanted to see the cupcakes dance. Um HELL YEAH!!!

The Shake Shack at Madison Square Park. If I knew how to say delicious in a million languages, I totally would!

Shake stack — burger patty with mushroom patty filled with cheese — yes, not good for the heart that pumps blood, but oh so good for the heart that loves ๐Ÿ˜€

Little sticker men on random streets always have a place in my heart even it means almost gettin ran over by a cab to get the shot, LOL.

There’s this game OJ and Chey play, who can stand still in one spot on the train without touching anything or anyone. Um yeah, I tried for about 10 seconds and almost fell. Epic fail!

YES, the flowers are starting to bloom this week!!!!!

I have yet to see a tailor who squats like this while doing his work. But there’s always hope! ๐Ÿ™‚

@Cassie, and the funny thing is. I saw the ad and was like “oooh Cassie will like this.” And before the Anthro shot, OJ was like “Cassie loves this store.” hahahaah
