There’s a reason why I thrived as a news reporter working in the breaking news business for so many years — I’m nosy and curious as heck according to Tommy. And I have no patience when it comes to keeping big news quiet LOL. But there has been some special news that we’ve known about since the fall that we’ve kept close to our hearts and that is … our family is growing. Yes, Tommy and I are going to be parents to a baby girl who is due to enter our lives in early June!

After being together for 15 years (married for five), we weren’t sure adding a new member to our family was in the cards for us. But by the grace of God, we’ve been blessed with the opportunity to add to our family and we couldn’t be more excited 🙂 Last year we added our beloved dog Marnie to our family of three, and this year we will be welcoming another little girl into our household. Needless to say, reality has not yet sunk in for Tommy that he will be living in a house of four girls hahahaha. But his days of sanity and sleep are numbered LOL.

While we will be taking some time off from shooting weddings and big events in these final weeks of my pregnancy as well as in the weeks that follow, we’re continuing to work on some exciting things that we have planned for our business and our clients that we’ll be launching later in the summer/fall! And all the while, we will continue to accept portrait sessions and weddings/events for future dates. Honestly, I cannot wait to meet more beautiful couples and people to photograph and really look forward to shooting again 🙂

But in the meantime, this pregnant girl will continuing to catch up on all my overdue blogging and nesting as we prepare for the arrival of our little one. But just wanted to finally share our joy with the internet world and make it “public” official — WE ARE PREGGO!!!
